It has been such a long time since I posted anything about what I am working on. So I thought a quick post about what I am up to and maybe what will be next??
Liberty Love Cushion
I have just finished this lovely Liberty cushion – just a quick throw together EPP heart on a gray cushion background. I was just looking for a bit of mindless stitching here really. It was a lovely hexagon EPP project just appliqued onto a cushion
I have started and I am part way through the Stargazer quilt by Sharon Burgess of Lilabelle Lane. I am currently using mostly Tula Pink fabrics because that was what I had on hand. I am really loving the star shapes and watching them form.
Sharon says that “Stargazer” was inspired by evenings spent laying in her backyard starting at the stars and dreaming. Also of the colourful fireworks in the night’s sky. The pattern includes full instructions with lots of diagrams. There are templates and papers. I could fussy cut – but I don’t do much of that, so I am just cutting my fabric as is! The final size of the quilt will be 52″ x 60″.
I haven’t done any work on these for ages… Back onto the back burner, I think!
Strawberry thief #4
This is my – I don’t want to patch today sewing relief project. My largest tapestry to date. I have only just started it. I am a HUGE fan of William Morris designs so I can see myself ending up with quite the collection of strawberry thief tapestries ultimately.
What are you all working on at the moment? Anyone else doing the #stargazerquilt? Let me know and we can check out each other’s feeds.
