Okay so it is the start of November so time to think about what quiltiness/craftiness I plan to do this month.
I didn’t do as much as I thought on the plane to and from Singapore. Mostly due to lighting restrictions. I did however have a breakthrough with carry on scissors
These scissors have 2 super short and blunt blades that are so tiny they are deemed not to be a weapon and are therefore safe for carryon. Which is awesome for all the quilting that we so desire.
So I digress… On my WIP list are my Ahhhhs (which you can read more about here), they are on the back burner at the moment. My rosettes 10a & b and 11a & b for the QAL. As well as sewing the rosettes together (more details can be found here). If I needed a break I have a William Morris needlepoint that I have started on the plane.
I am hoping to start either my smitten quilt or my tree of life quilt, but I will have to see if I can organise myself. I do have a few days off over the next week so I should make the time.
I am trying to follow a few quote cards that I found at Kikki-k. Like this one
Quilting is super important to y well being so it is important to do it often.
What do you do for your mental well being?
